Revelation 20:7 Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison.

Evil Released

For one thousand years Satan has been bound and stewing on taking out his hate. The thousand-year reign has brought peace and prosperity. People marry and have children. Israel finally fulfills the promise of God in having its full promise of land. Nature is back to the original plan, and animals live amongst themselves eating grass, not flesh. Jesus reigns and there is a perfect environment and no sin because of His presence. But why is Satan released?

Ever listen to what the new age religion cult has to say about creating the perfect environment? That through economic and socialist programs, the person is developed. This is front and center of their doxology. This is fixing to be proven wrong. Because through this perfect environment, the children born during this 1000 year has not made confessions of faith in Jesus. Some of these are fixing to align themselves with the released Satan.

The second rebellion

Revelation 20:8 will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. Gog and Magog before the thousand-year reign were mentioned in Ezekiel 38. Their territory was north of Jerusalem. What modern day nation this is associated with I am uncertain. They were barbarian invaders who were known for their brutality.

Revelation 20:9 They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of Heaven and devoured them. Millions come before the “beloved city,” which is Jerusalem. They are in full war mode, but their future is short. A great fire comes from Heaven and ends their assault. The same ending as the battle before the thousand-year reign.

The ending of this rebellion

Revelation 20:10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Satan is finally cast into hell; he will meet his friends the beast and the anti-Christ. After this, there will be no more rebellion. No more sin, nor evil. The environment does not matter. Evil is in man’s heart. Jesus is the only way to be holy. Will you choose Him today?
