Psalm 50:5 Gather my saints together to Me, those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.

Today is Sunday. Most people in America will be resting at home or gathering with friends to play games. Some will go to the ballfield to watch their children play. This is typical America these days. It has been estimated that only thirty percent of adults today attend church on a weekly basis. Now why do you think that our country has so much rebellion and crime happening?

God has called for the gathering of His saints. This is not a suggestion but a requirement. Church is a place where we learn of our value through His eyes. A place where we can come together and strengthen our faith. We can worship and learn more about Jesus, who gave up everything to save us from the eternal consequence of our sin. Why is it so hard for us to be in a place that God will show up in?

Maybe it is the fact that more people today choose not to believe in God. Maybe they have read Nietzsche and think that God is dead? It is ashamed that God has made it so easy to avoid a place that was made for Lucifer and his demons. Maybe this is a failure of the church itself to spread the word of God. Going forth and making disciples of all nations was a command. But we have failed as a church. But today you can take a stand, by joining fellow believers in worshipping a Holy God. The revival starts with the person inside of your circle.
