John 14:26 “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

Do you know God in the form of the Holy Spirit?

In this day and age, we should have come so far in our knowledge of God. We have failed to understand the entirety of who God really is and how He operates. Matthew 28:19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” God comes in three distinct persons. God the Father, God the Son-Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit. This is hard for us to understand, and I will have you rely on faith in God’s word on this matter. But today I wanted to focus on the Holy Spirit.

Mark 1:8 “I indeed baptized you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.” The first thing we can know is that the Holy Spirit opens our eyes to what Jesus has done for us and who He is in the Godhead. Mark 3:29 informs us that if we blasphemy against the Holy Spirit does not have forgiveness. So, the Holy Spirit tells us beforehand about our Savior. If we do not acknowledge what He is saying, then we blasphemy Him.

What is another role of the Holy Spirit?

Mark 13:11 “But when they arrest you and deliver you up, do not worry beforehand, or premeditate what you will speak. But whatever is given you in that hour, speak that; for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit. So, the Holy Spirit also teaches us in the ways of the Trinity. He gives us ideas and thoughts to speak. He gives us words to give our testimonies.

Have you ever been speaking about Jesus and scriptures come to your mind? This is the Holy Spirit at work in us. So, He opens our eyes to Jesus, then He gives us words to speak about Jesus. Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. The Holy Spirit miraculously gives us the ability to speak other languages so we can give them our testimonies also. We can take the fact that the Holy Spirit points to Jesus in all matters in a way for us to understand that everything for us depends on what Jesus has done for us.

Have you blasphemed the Holy Spirit?

The answer depends on what you have done with Jesus. Have you accepted Him as Lord and Savior? Or have you ignored or plain out denied Him? If so, then yes, you have blasphemed the Holy Spirit. But this can change if you look seriously and then accept Jesus as Lord and Savior.
