John 15:4 “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.”
The vine is green and full of sap. The fruit is ready but if not, careful there can be a mishap. One missed step or one malfunction can lead to disaster at one or more junctions. The process seems easy and we do not consider the care. For which the vine is for, He is of no compare. So, if you want to have abundant fruit, make sure you always keep in mind the Vine and the Root.
We cannot have a spiritual relationship without the Vine, which is Jesus. When we are attached to Jesus, we then receive the Holy Spirit who helps and guides us. Jesus is the Vine and the Holy Spirit is the sap from which we grow as fruit. We must be attached in order to be tapped into the root, which is God the Father. This is the only way for us to make it in eternal life. There is no other way. We must at any cost connect.
We are told in this chapter that if we are connected, we will be pruned. God will take our best and make it ten times better through this process. We are also told that those who do not connect will be thrown into the fire. This is eternal punishment in a place that was made for Satan and his angels. It was not intended for us. In other words, we were created to be attached and the reason we are not attached is our choice not to be attached. Choose wisely my friends.
