Matthew 9:35 Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
Jesus came into this world with the ultimate goal of saving humanity from our sins through His death, burial and resurrection. But He was more than a sacrificial lamb. Jesus was at heart an old country street preacher. He wanted everyone who could hear to hear who His father was and what He was doing on their behalf. He never had a home because He was too busy traveling from place to place meeting people and witnessing to them. This was done out of love for God the Father and love for the people.
Jesus preached the coming of the Son of Man and how to enter heaven in eternal life. He taught everything from creation to the end of time here on earth. He also showed compassion for people because when they came to Him, he healed their wounds and sickness. His tender heart towards us was well documented, even to the point he raised children and men from the dead. He showed a true servant’s heart in His dealings with us.
Jesus showed submissiveness to the Father’s will. Every time He prayed, He gave glory to His Father in heaven. His example is the example we should follow. No matter what our neighbors or family says about Jesus, we should always be submissive to His will. Every time we have the opportunity, we should give Him glory. He is the only way to heaven because He was the sacrificial lamb for our sin. Do you know Him today?
