Colossians1:3-4 We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of your love for all saints.

Do you know there are thousands of missionaries that leave the comfort of their home each year to serve the Lord? Some stay in dangerous places putting their lives at risk. They build relationships from scratch and have no one but themselves or spouses to depend on, except the Lord. This is a big undertaking and most sell everything they have to do this and live on faith. Can you imagine the praise they are getting from the saints in heaven, from Jesus and the Father.

We are all not called to be missionaries in foreign countries. But we are called to step out on faith and spread Jesus to the world around us. How well are you performing the mission Jesus called us to in Matthew 28? We all hear people say that they just do not know the purpose for their Christian life. But this is commanded of us in Matthew! Go forth and make disciples of all men. This is a purpose we should all be taking part in. Through doing this then other talents reveal themselves.

Now imagine doing this that the Lord has called us to and then hearing the praise for being faithful in this mission from our Heavenly Host. This confirmation that we are doing what we were born to do would be game changing. But you must realize this is happening. When a soul is saved from hell, the angels cheer and praise God. So do not be discouraged or frightened to do what God has called us to. We may not know it now, but the cheering section will be calling your name!
