1 Thessalonians 5:8-11 But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.

The most important aspect of living the life we were blessed with is coming to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. This is what we all were born for. God created us with a hole in our hearts that can only be filled with His love. We know that by sin entering the picture that this separated us from that love. It hinders us from having a relationship with Jesus. But those of us who do have a relationship with Him through His saving grace should be sober minded. We need to put on His armor and walk in the hope of His love.

He did not appoint any of us to wrath. He created us to spend eternity with Him. But sin entered in and as said before separated us. That was the reason Christ came, died, and took our sins on His shoulders. He was the sacrificial lamb that took our punishment. Whether we die naturally or are called home during the rapture or as Paul said, “Are caught up”, God did not appoint anybody to wrath. Every person has a choice. We do not have to take any punishment. So, when the end comes, we are with Jesus no matter where, where is.

The question is do you accept Jesus as Lord and Savior? Everything in history is based on this question. The heavens and earth will pass away but your soul will live forever. There will be a new heaven and new earth, but hell will never change. It was meant for Lucifer and his demons/angels not you. Please do not let pride, greed or lust keep you from His grace.
