Hebrews 4:15-16 For we do not have a high Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Jesus came into this world fully man and fully God. He came to save mankind from the sin that plagued it. He walked with sinners and tax collectors. He did not sin but let it be known that it is the sick that needs the physician. He did not shun those who lived with leprosy. He healed the blind. He did not shy away from the hard subjects He was asked about. In every way He was tempted but did not sin.

He is our High Priest. He knows who we are and how we feel. He knows the guilt we feel and the weakness we have. We do not have to clean up our lives to come to Him. No we come to Him and He cleans up our lives. He looks upon us with grace and mercy. He loves us. Our entire history is filled with Him trying to call to us and lead us to our best life. That life is tied to Him. He created us to have a relationship with Him. Our lives will never be complete without Him involved in it.

For all these reasons we can come boldly to the throne of grace. He is waiting for us there. He is wanting to help us in our time of need. Why do we wait? Why do we pause? Maybe it is the pull of the flesh and its bent towards sin. But we just need to cry out to Him and He will be there to forgive us. This is our God. This is our Savior. Will you consider this today? Will you come to the throne of His grace? Tomorrow is not promised to any person.
