Isaiah 25:1 O Lord, You are my God. I will exalt You, I will praise your name, For You have done wonderful things; Your counsels of old are faithful and truth.
What god do you serve? Who or what do you exalt? The world is full of little “g” gods. Satan in fact, encourages people to worship these false gods. Buddha, Allah, Brahma Satan has no problem with these. Maybe it is money, pride or sex. These seem to fool millions of people. But will you take an honest look at the question posed? What god do you truly serve? The answer to this question may surprise you when you honestly search this out.
Isaiah made it very clear. The Lord, God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob was the true God and he was serving Him. Isaiah dedicated his life to delivering the messages God wanted him to deliver. He suffered because of his obedience to God. But this did not matter. Every time he could, Isaiah was going to exalt Yahweh. He knew and understood that everything existed because of his God and that salvation was from his faith in the Creator God. Does your life look similar to this?
We are not all called to be like Isaiah. But we are called to understand and worship Jesus. We are to spread His name and His gospel around the world. Anything that comes in between your worship and God is a little “g” god. What is it that needs to be removed from in between you and Him? Will you commit to removing that today? Is He the most important part of your life?
