John 3:8 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

How do you feel when you have crossed a friend and they forgive you? You have been worrying about how your friend would respond to your heartfelt apology. Now, after hurting them they have forgiven you and welcomed you back into their life. I, from experience, know that this does something to the heart. It changes you and you want to be a better person after this experience. Now think about this from the perspective of a sinner destined to eternal separation from God.

This is the greatest gift we can ever receive! Forgiveness. Now think about someone who knows they have committed an offense that has hurt someone but in their pride they do not ask for forgiveness. In fact, they rub what they have done in the face of everyone. How does this make you think of the offending party? God has made a way for us through forgiveness of our sins. All we need to do is believe in His Son Jesus and ask His forgiveness. Which side do you find yourself on in this decision of belief and forgiveness?

No matter what you have done or who you have hurt, Jesus took the punishment for that sin. There is nothing so great that you cannot be forgiven. Do you choose belief and Jesus or do you choose not to believe and eternal separation? This is not something to trifle around about! Life is fragile and tomorrow is not promised to anyone! Take time and ponder what is before you. Your decision will define you from henceforth!
