Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

Freedom defined is the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint. This is how humans have defined freedom. What is spiritual freedom? This is a question that has been fought over for thousands of years. Again by humans. But do you want to understand true spiritual freedom? It begins with the saving knowledge of who is Jesus Christ.

Jesus brought us out from the tyranny of sin. Sin is a chain that binds us. It is oppressive. We end up serving our sins. Then in the end, sin destines us to more suffering. Jesus took the punishment we deserved and broke the chains of death and sin. We have the ability, if we choose to live free of the bondage we were under. We were untangled from sin and allowed the ability to walk in freedom by Christ. Do not be dragged back into bondage by those who say we need to live by the law. We can not work enough to be free on our own. This is why Jesus chose to come and save us.

True freedom starts with knowing Jesus on a personal level. Walking with Jesus keeps us free from the bondage of law. Do you want this freedom for your life? If so, then start the journey with the first step. Open His word and read. Pray. Ask Christians for advice. It is possible. Just seek Jesus!
