MATTHEW 10:32 “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before my Father who is in heaven.”
People do not realize that just because they refuse to state an opinion on Jesus, they are still not confessing His Lordship. This is a move we refer to as fence straddling. People try to walk the line between two opposing sides. But Jesus said in the book of Revelation, “I wish they were hot or cold, but because they were lukewarm I spit them out.” Lukewarm liquid is repulsive. This is how Jesus views the ones who will not choose.
But if you confess Him, He confesses you to the Father. To reach this point you have given your heart to Him and have followed His way. This sets you apart from the worldly system. You bless your enemies and you pray for them. You realize that there is nothing that this worldliness has to offer of any benefit. You are an alien walking in a foreign land and you long for the home Jesus is preparing for you.
Tomorrow there will be people gathering in churches all across our country. Some will come to truly worship and learn. Some will be there to improve their business opportunities. Others think church is a social club. The only one that knows outside the person is God. He knows who His children are and who are not. Do you not want Him to call your name out to the Father?
