Matthew 5:11 “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.”

There is a sect of religious people in this world that will tell you that when you come to Jesus ,and perform certain works your life will be peachy perfect. There will be no trials or tribulations. Most of this is tied to money given. This is referred to as easy believism. This is not from the gospels of Christ. In fact, this is opposite of what Jesus tells us. We will face trials, temptations, abuse and other forms of intimidation.

This is because Satan does not want the gospel to be spread. Would he spend his time harassing a drunkard on a bar stool who does not know Jesus? Or would he harass a Christian who is working to spread the gospel on the streets? Satan comes to kill, steal and destroy. He does this because he hates Christ. What do you think he would do to you if he treats his Creator this way? Anyway he can to stop the Word from spreading.

But, Jesus has promised to walk with you through whatever is thrown at you. He will help you and guide you. You just have to have enough faith in Him to believe. No, this is not always easy. Truthfully it very seldom will be. But it is worth following Him and giving Him the glory and praise. Be blessed and bless those around you today.
