Isaiah 55:11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth. It shall not return to Me void. But it shall accomplish what I please. And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Void can mean not valid or an empty space. Examples are voiding a contract or the void of a vast area like a desert. God tells us that His word that goes forth from His mouth will not return void. It can be invalidated and it is not empty. Examples include His word creating the world taking a vast void and creating the planet. It also means that Jesus guaranteeing our faith in Him will not be invalid. This should give us some surety knowing what He created and what He guarantees.

It will also accomplish what he wishes. If He wants it to accomplish the saving of a soul it will. But He will not force us so He gives us a choice to believe in Him. He promised the world would never flood again and it has not. He promised there would always be a remnant who knows Him as savior and there has always been a remnant. He promises us that believe in him as savior that we will be in His presence one day, so we can believe in that also.

God tells us that one day every knee will bow to Him. He tells us that those who do not choose Him will be eternally separated from Him. This is not a place where goodness will dwell because without Him there is no goodness. He has begged and pleaded for us to have a relationship with Him. Jesus even came and died to save us. Take Him at His word and know that one day we will face His judgement. This is not politically correct but it is understanding of eternity and where your soul will be. Choose Him today.
