Isaiah 43:2 When you walk through the water, I will be with you. And when you go through the rivers, they won’t flood over you . When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, the flames will not set you on fire.

There was a very popular song a few years back from Carrie Underwood, “Jesus take the wheel.” It was about living life and knowing we can not make it without Him. This is more true with each passing day. When we look at the landscape of the world today it seems so much more dangerous and so much more evil.

Isaiah tells us though that when we have Jesus front and center things happen for our betterment. Wherever we may go or whatever we may do if we have Jesus then He will be our protector. There will be those who are full of the world and want to hurt us. This could be physical or mental pain. But whatever they have planned for our bad, Jesus will turn it for our good.

So as you walk through the day today I hope that you have a relationship with Jesus. If not then the world of evil is wide open to affect your life in a negative way. If you are a Christian then put on the armor of God and go forth proclaiming His kingdom. May your day be blessed and the sun shine on your face today.
