James 3:16 For where envy and self-seeking exists, confusion and every evil thing are there.

Envy is resentful longing for what others have. Self seeking is putting your wants above all other things. Put these two together and the worlds of those around people like this will burn to the ground. These two behaviors are created from the sin of pride. Pride is one of the seven deadly sins. Deadly because those who live in pride live as though they already have one foot in hell and are trying to put others there before the other foot slips.

How do people overcome these two deadly sins? Only with the grace and mercy of a God who loves them no matter the way they are. This is true love. Because it is hard to even be in the presence of people like this but to save them! This is truly from the Father above. But this stands to ask another question. Why? Because God knows the value of your soul and He also knows what destruction of that soul means.

Hell was not made for man. It was made for Satan. God blew breath into the nostril of man. He made man in His image. God put His love into making you so He could have a relationship with you. Knowing the love that God loves you with is the ultimate gamechanger. Take the time to consider this. It will completely change your life.
