Galatians 4:6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, father.” 7. Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then a heir of God through Christ.

Those of us who have accepted Jesus as Lord are no longer sojourners through this world. No, we are His sons and daughters. When we accept Him as savior then we have a claim and a right that others do not have. We have become children of the almighty God. We have the right to come and cry out in todays term, “Daddy!” This is a term of endearment and understanding of our standing in the kingdom of God.

Therefore, we no longer have to be enslaved to sinful acts and behavior. We are no longer in the clutches of Satan and his minions. We have a voice to call out to the Father for help. Not only a voice but we have His ear. This means He listens to us. Before, when we are in sin and do not have the forgiveness of Jesus, our prayers are not heard. When someone prays that is not saved, their prayers go no further than the ceiling above them. They might as well save their breathe.

We though who are saved are now heirs. Heirs of the kingdom of God. We are saints. We are His children. He is our Father and nothing can separate us from Him. No act, no word, not even death can snatch us out of His hand. We are His and we will spend eternity with Him through the grace and mercy shown to us by Jesus. It is my prayer that you come to know Jesus. He is more than you can imagine if you do not know Him. Walking with him on a daily basis you learn that you learn more about His greatness everyday.
