Colossians 2:8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the traditions of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.

Have you ever had a trip planned and used your navigation system to reach your destination? Has that navigation ever led you to a wrong street? Has someone you trusted ever led you astray? If you are being honest this has happened in your life. The world is not a perfect place. People can be led down a wrong path and everyone is capable of deceit.

There are many false beliefs in the world. There are numerous philosophies born out of life experience. These are not reliable and are proven false with little effort or time. But people believe in these because they are searching for something. People were born with a God sized hole in their heart and are searching to fill it with something. Philosophies, false beliefs, sin, and numerous and sundry other things are crammed into that hole.

Jesus is the only One that can fill that hole. He made you and knows what you need to make you whole. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. He sacrificed everything to have a relationship with you. Do you have a relationship with Him? There will always be something missing without Him.
