1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Beloved, this means someone who is admired, valued and loved. This is the basis on which our relationship with Christ is based. He valued and loved you enough to go to the cross and die. He took the punishment for our sin. He went to the grave and rose on the third day. You need to realized how beloved you are by the virgin born, sinless, perfect Son of god. This is true understanding.

Now, we need to be steadfast in our mission. We need to wake up everyday and work spreading Christ to the world. Being immovable in our core values. Being willing to debate the ideas in which we believe. Paul tells us, “Therefore do not be ashamed of the gospel of Christ.” How well do you take it to the world? We are to abound in this work. striving always to make disciples.

Your work will not be in vain. God’s word will not come back void. There will be results. Are you working to take as many to heaven with you as possible? This is the mission. We should do this out of the overflow of His love shown to us. May God bless you and your family.
