Ecclesiastes 8:12 Though a sinner does evil a hundred times, and his days are prolonged, yet I surely know that it will be well with those who fear God, who fear before Him.

The days of man are like a whisp of smoke. This is a very sobering thought. How do you want to live your life? Some think that they will live in a selfish sinful way partaking in any and every sinful act they can. The sad part of a person who thinks this way is that they will only experience all the good they experience on this earth. And living a sinful life there is only a small amount of good they will have.

The bible is God’s instruction manual to us on how to live our best life. Our best life is not walking in the ways of this world. Looking back over my life as a sinner what I thought was surely good was actually not. It did satisfy the flesh for a moment but that was short lived and I had to go further in sin to get some more fleshly satisfaction. Walking with God is not like that. Walking in salvation and living out His will for my life has given me so much more joy.

Walking with God after my salvation experience has been so much more rewarding. I know that I have been forgiven for my sin. I know that I have lived trying to further His kingdom. As I look around and see people who mock God and live sinfully they seem bitter and unfulfilled. My thought turns to when the whisp of smoke we call life ends. What kind of answer will that sinful person give Jesus? There is only two places we end up, heaven or hell. It is my prayer you know Jesus today. Life with Him has been so much more rewarding.
