Isaiah 40:11 He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with his arms. And carry them in His bosom, And gently lead those who are with young.

Sheep need to be tended. They cannot take care of themselves. People are a lot like sheep in a spiritual manner. We need to be fed and tended. God provides men and women who help with this inside the church. They take extra time and put in effort to study. Then they present the scripture to children and adults in Sunday school classes. They are blessed from the study and bless others through their teaching.

God gathers the people to Him at the church. He wraps them in His arms through His people and shows love. This is what the Christian life is all about. Love, kindness, patient, peace, joy, longsuffering, faithfulness, self-control and goodness, these are the fruits of the spirit. These are the attributes Christians should show while gathered in corporate worship and everyday living. This is how we reflect the love of Jesus to others.

This is what a relationship with Jesus looks like. Loving one another because we are imitating Him. I hope you have a good church family. I hope that you will pursue the fruit of the spirit with fellow believers. Jesus did not save us to do nothing. He saved us to grow in Him and bring others to the same saving grace we were shown.
