James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.

Firstly, wisdom is from above. It is given by God to those who have given themselves to Him. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. You can accumulate all the facts in the world but if you do not have wisdom then you will never use all those facts in a good way. Because this wisdom is from God it is pure. There is no tainting of sin on it. It is meant to do good in His name.

Then it brings peace. This is the intended good of the wisdom. Peace is a total wholeness and wellness of the mind, body and soul. This is gentle. Not meant to overwhelm but is willing to yield in humbleness. Knowing that it is full of mercy and good fruits. That it increasing the good things in your life. Showing no partiality to one person who seems richer or in a position of presumable power. There is no hypocrisy in this. It is meant to be pure.
