Titus 3:3 For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lust and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another.

We as people can be a judgmental lot. There is a saying I read, “Judging a person does not define them. It defines you.” We have short memories when it comes to our sin. We also seem to have the biggest problem with others when we see the sin we have the biggest problem with in them. We need to stop and pray. Judgment is reserved for One. The One. Jesus Christ.

If you walk around thinking you are not a sinner, then you are not reading the word of God. We have all been disobedient and seekers of our own lust. This is naturally what the flesh seeks. Just watch small children and how they seek things they see other children possessing. They have to have it, not the other child. If we are not careful then we live our lives in such a way that we make everything about us. When this happens we start to have envy of others because of their blessings.

What should we do? Wake up every morning and crucify our flesh. Ask God to shape us into the person He intended us to be. Make Him number one, your spouse number two, your children number three then everything else in the order God leads you. Self will always be last on the list. Remember we are not perfect but we serve a perfect God who is willing to forgive us.
