John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Jesus has come and died on the cross. Where does that leave the disciples? Where does that leave us? The answer is in the middle of His peace. This is not the absence of conflict or problems. It is ability to be able to have a whole body wellness in the midst of these two. Knowing that no matter what happens we can have the peace of Jesus is an absolute game changer. God promises us His peace.

Why do we even have a chance at his peace? Because He loves us and He decided to leave His peace with us out of that love. He does not want us fearful. He wants us to be able to plant our feet on his foundation and be clear-minded. Knowing that no matter what; we will be with Him one day. Until then He would provide us a way to be comforted. The Holy Spirit provides us this and wisdom.

We should not be troubled through the evil events of this world. We should not be scared of the one who can kill the body. We should be scared of the One that can send our souls to eternal damnation. This life on earth is temporary. We are migrants passing through. If we know Jesus then our home is with Him. Seek His peace today. It will be the best decision you will ever make.
