John 15:6 “If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire and they are burned.”

The act of abiding starts with the knowledge of something. If you do not know, then how can you abide in it? Abiding in Jesus starts with a personal relationship with Him. Knowing then accepting Him as Savior opens the door to the abiding. This is the only way to know God and to enter his presence eternally. Christ died to allow for this relationship. This shows the depth of the desire for a relationship God the Father has for you and me.

The only sin that you cannot be forgiven of is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. This is not listening to the call the Holy Spirit puts on you to acknowledge Jesus as Savior. This causes the person who commits the blasphemy to be cast out into the fire as a branch. The fire is of course hell. It is a real place and it is spoken of more by Jesus than any other person in the bible. This is not to scare you but to give you knowledge.

God has made it easy for us to be saved from this eternal damnation. It takes a lot of effort not to admit there is a God. There is also a lot of effort put into denying His love. In other words you have to work hard to end up in hell. Before that happens please consider the facts of the bible and understand the love the Lord has for you. It makes an eternal difference.
