John 8:21 Then Jesus said to them again, “I am going away, and you will seek Me, and will die in your sin. Where I go you cannot come.”

Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life and no one comes to the Father except through Him. There are those when you listen to them will balk on this point. They will say there are other ways to heaven or Jesus plus works. But the truth sometimes hurts. Jesus made it plain some will die in their sin because they refuse to think Jesus is enough.

Willful ignorance is the term for this way of thinking. The Pharisees tried every way they could think of to discredit Jesus. They refuted the word of God. They refused the prophecies of the Old Testament. They even went as far as to call Jesus illegitimate because of His virgin birth. No matter what they would not accept Jesus. This is the picture of willful ignorance. They witnessed His miracles and heard His teachings. They could find no sin. But they refused to accept Him.

The truth will set you free. Jesus tells us in John 8:31 and 32 “If you abide in My word, you are my disciples. And you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.” We have to abide in His word and then we will know the truth. Then when the truth is known and accepted we can be with Him where he is at. Friends, He is sitting at the right hand of the Father in heaven. If you want to join Him then acknowledge who He truly is, the Savior of the world. Virgin born and sinless. The One who died to save your soul!
