Proverbs 30:5 Every word of God is pure. He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.

Gold is the most traded material on earth. It has driven economies for decades. The standard for the Federal Reserve bank is 99.5 percent. This means that the most valuable currency on earth has 0.5 percent dross or junk material in it. Now that is very strong and very pure. But would you stake everything you have on your life if there was even a chance that something could go wrong?

That is life for mankind. We can have almost certainty but not total certainty. But what if there was someone who was pure. Someone we could put the most valuable possession in His hands without fear? What is that possession? Our soul, of course. Who is that someone? Jesus Christ the Son of the Most High God. He is 100 percent pure. We can be 100 percent certain that we can trust Him with all.

He is our shield. He protects the most valued possession we have. He is the Author and Guarantor of our faith. We can trust Him because He showed Himself trustworthy to the Father by being perfect. He showed Himself trustworthy by dying on the cross for our sins. Trust Him and be 100 percent certain and confident that you will be with Him in paradise one day.
