Isaiah 52:7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, Who proclaims peace, Who brings glad tidings of good, Who proclaims salvation, Who says Zion, “Your God reigns.”

News today is twenty four seven. Most times it is not good nor does it bring happiness. There is an old adage, if it bleeds it leads. How sad of a world do we live? We do not fight against flesh and blood but the prince of the power of the air. The point of it all is for Satan to keep our minds off the good news of the gospel.

Isaiah makes it clear in his writings. How beautiful is the one who proclaims the good news of peace and salvation. Blessed are the feet that bring the good news of the Savior Jesus Christ. He gives us joy! Joy is not temporary like the emotion of happiness. We are joyful through any situation when knowing Jesus is with us.

What makes us joyful? Knowing that God reigns and His Son came to this earth so that we might be saved from our sins. But only if we accept Him as Lord and Savior. This is what Isaiah was talking about. He knew by faith that the Messiah was coming and he celebrated the news. Do not fall into the trap the enemy has set. Trust Jesus and be joyful, sin and true death have been defeated.
