Mark 4:4 :And it happened, as he sowed, that some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds of the air came and devoured it.”

Lucifer was the leader of the rebellion in heaven. He was created to reflect the glory of God. He was also made to make beautiful music to please God. He is not physically an ugly creature, in fact he is probably quite handsome. His spiritual nature is such that he is a beast. He comes to kill, steal and destroy.

Jesus sowed seed. We are called to sow seed. The seed we sow is the word of God. Like physical seed it can fall on hard ground. Ground that is not ready to support the seed that falls on it. Even if it were, in the above scripture Satan a term for Lucifer comes and snatches the seed and destroys it.

We need to be careful when we do not listen to the word God is trying to plant. We need to take the word serious and follow its commands. Tomorrow is promised to no one. This might be the one and only time we have a chance at salvation. Therefore, what do you listen to? What influences you? If it is of the world then it is temporary. Then judgment. Are you listening?
