Proverbs 12:16 A fool’s wrath is known at once, But a prudent man covers shame.

“A wise man can learn more from a foolish question than a fool can learn from a wise answer.” This is a very descriptive and wise saying from a worldly Bruce Lee. The fool is a person who does not have enough sense to understand he is in trouble when surrounded by fire. In fact, he has a can of gas and thinks it will extinguish the fire. This is biblically true because it tells us the fool is in danger of the judgment of hell.

A fool can be spotted easily because of the destruction and wrath he causes. I have heard it said it is hard to build but it only takes minimum effort to destroy. This is the fool’s way. A prudent man though is a person who overcomes the foolish way. He is slow to speak, quick to think and acts in a wise way. The prudent are sought after when calamity has struck and peril is at hand.

Today when you are going about your day, look about and notice the people around you. Think about those you spend your time with. What do they reflect? If they seem foolish, maybe it is time to change your surroundings. Maybe it is time to realize that the beginning of wisdom is the knowledge of the Lord. Then accept his grace and be saved from the home of the foolish people.
