Matthew 6:34 “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow. for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Being a worrier is a costly habit. It is estimated that nearly 6,5 trillion dollars is spent on this condition per year on a global scale. Then there is the physical toll. Ulcers, lost sleep and other sicknesses caused by worry. Why has this become such an epidemic in our culture today?

Maybe it is because of the technology that now gives us the ability to know anything instantly. Maybe it is the constant news cycles that bring us more and more worrisome news. Whatever that is causing this we have the ability to break the cycle of worry. We can live a life of happiness and peace.

We are not promised tomorrow so why worry about the things that could happen. In a study from psychology today they found 91 percent of things we worry about never happen. So with these facts why not concentrate on what we can fix today? Why not seek out the One who brings true peace to give your worries too? Give it all to Him. The worry, the anxiety but most of all give Him your soul. Trust in Him for all things and with all things.
