Proverbs 10:2 Treasures of wickedness profit nothing, but righteousness delivers from death.

There is a stream of thinking in this country and frankly around the world. This thinking has ruined and brought more conflict than any other. The thought? The world is for my conquest and any and all who stand in my way will pay. Most who are reading this know it is true. We are born into sin and we want the best for us.

Having a healthy understanding of what possessions are for and why to acquire them, is required here. There is nothing wrong with things or money. What we do for them and how we use them is the point. Pride and greed will ruin people like one rotten apple in the bowl full. If we use what we have been entrusted with to spread Christ and help others, then we are showing Gods love.

When we use what we have been given for evil purposes and treat others poorly, then we are falling into the trap of the enemy. The former leads to happiness and life. The latter leads to depression and death. Maybe physical death but more importantly spiritual death. The difference is how you view others. We are made in the image of a loving God. When we treat others poorly then we are treating Him poorly. Choose good choose God.
