Psalm 25:5 Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation, On You I wait all the day.

The God of my salvation is a statement of faith. David understood who it was that lifted him up. It was the God Most high. There was no denying it in his mind or actions. His whole life was a testament to that fact. From the day he met and defeated Goliath as a teenager; all the way to his death, Gods hand was upon him.

How did David come to the point that he trusted God that much? God looks into the heart of a person. He knows who is teachable and who will resist, it is a heart issue. David learned in his youth while shepherding the flock in the desert. He was able to face lions and bears because of the faith God gave him. He knew the scripture, he trusted Gods word.

God knows you also. He knows your heart and your thoughts. Are you teachable? Do you listen for His voice whispering to you? If you truly seek him he will find you!
