Psalm 24:1 A psalm of David. The earth is the Lord’s and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein.

Americans have a notion of what they own. Owning land and cars or whatever, is ingrained into our psyche. This is not grounded in truth. God owns it all. He created it and he created us. What we have is given to us to manage until the next generation comes along.

The intent of me saying this is not to dispute property rights. The last part of the verse is the most important. We are those that dwell therein. We are His. He formed us from the ground and blew his breathe into our nostrils. We are his children.

We are rebellious though. We tend to become prideful and think we are the masters of our lives. This is what led us to our sinful behavior. Of course God knew this and planned for this occurrence. From the beginning Jesus was that plan. He came and suffered for us, He tore the veil so we could enter into His presence again.

Today is the day that millions go to church to learn and worship. He is calling you. Go to your local house of worship and praise Him.
