Psalm 9:2 I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.

The average person walks around with a glass half full mentality. They are mad or sad at what is happening around them. They see others succeed when they are struggling and they are mad. They take a steps to be successful and encounter resistance, they give up and are sad. This is what James talked about, a rudderless ship sailing rough seas.

This is not how Jesus intends for us to live our lives. Whatever the situation you find yourself remember, you are to sing praise to Him. We are to rejoice in His name. All men or women are not created equally. We have different talents and gifts. Stop looking around and comparing yourself to others. Instead look up and sing.

Sing because you know Him. You are a child of the Most High God. This world and your current life is fleeting. It is like a vapor of smoke. But if you know Him, you know that there is more waiting for you after this life. It is called eternal life and you will be clothed with His glory. You will receive a new and perfect body. All pain and every tear will be wiped away by Him.

Knowing this, how could you not sing praise? The only reason to be sad and not be able to sing praise is by not having a relationship with our Lord. Be joyful in your daily walk. Suffering is but for a moment. True happiness is eternal when in Him.
