1 Thessalonians 5:4 – But you , brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.
“Am I a fool? I don’t think I am a fool. But I think I sure was fooled.”- Kenneth Lay. Is this a question you will be asking yourself? A fool as used in the scriptures, means someone in danger of being in hell.
Just scroll back to verse two in 1 Thessalonians 5. It tells us, the Day of the Lord comes as a thief in the night. This is a scripture most, if not all have heard. Jesus said He was coming back and He will. When he does will you be caught acting the fool?
If so, it is not because you did not know. The Holy Spirit calls us continually. Looking at the natural world you see the Hand of God all around. Gods word has been translated into almost all known language. The proof of God and His love is everywhere.
If you are caught fooled there will be no excuse. The simple fact is that most hear but do not respond. If you have heard and believe, spread what you know. If you have heard and choose not to believe, the thief comes quickly. Is it worth it to gain the whole world but lose your soul?
