Acts 19:15 And the evil spirit answered and said, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?”

Spiritual warfare is real. The verse above talks about the seven sons of Sceva. They foolishly tried to exorcise an evil spirit. Foolishly because they didn’t know Jesus and have the Holy Spirit.

They were beaten to a pulp by this evil spirit. The good news is they left with their lives and they had time to find Jesus. They had the opportunity to do so also because they wee imitating Paul. They knew him and heard him speak.

Even more concerning though is people who take a spiritual beating. Not knowing Jesus our lives are like rudderless ships on a rough ocean. We are thrown to and fro. It doesn’t need to be this way.

Jesus is real. Jesus loves you. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. Come to Him.
