Luke 15:1 Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to Him to hear Him.

People are attracted and want to be around inspirational people. There is something about being around someone who can inspire you. The thought of us hearing positive and then taking that and overcoming trouble, causes our synapses to fire.

Now, we are sinners. We were born into that curse. What can we do to overcome that? Nothing in our on power. So what is our inspiration in that situation? The tax collectors and sinners in Jesus day drew near to Jesus.

Jesus was a great teacher. Yes that is true. Jesus was a healer. That is true as well. But are these the reason Jesus drew so many who were outcasts to Him? No, there was something more. Something that inspired people to flock to Him.

They flocked to Him because they understood He was someone who could forgive their sins. Many of them went to graves and died because they knew He was Lord and Savior. He inspired such faith people died in belief of Him.

Some will die for their family. Some will die for a friend. But no one will die for a lie. Jesus is God incarnate, He came to fulfill the law. He came to die for your sin. It is my hope this will inspire you to give your life to Him.
