Matthew 5:14 You are the light of the world. A city that is sat on a hill cannot be hidden.

Being bold is a virtue from God. There is no hesitation or pause. Most people have to stop and think of the cost. What is the cost of not? Not testifying? Not speaking of the Truth? There is a huge price to be paid by someone, for not.

Jesus said we are the light of the world. Darkness flees from light but what if we fail to let it shine? Then darkness creeps in further. This has been the problem with easy Christianity. It has made us hesitant and not bold.

We were saved for a purpose. We were not left here just to wait upon heaven. If our salvation experience is all that God intended for us, then why leave us here? Why didn’t we get saved then head home?

Because we are bright shining lights for Jesus. We are to go forth boldly proclaiming the good news. Yes we will stumble. Yes we will fall. But if just one person gets saved, isn’t the effort worth it? Go be a light in someones darkness today.
