Galatians 3:3 Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh?
Living a Spirit filled life? What does this exactly mean? Well to answer that question first, I have to ask a question. What is your understanding of the Trinity?
First, God the Father. He spoke in Genesis and the world was created. Adonai- Lord Master. Attiyq Youm-The Ancient of Days. EL ELYON-The God Most High. These are just a few names He is known by,
Jesus is God the Son. Alpha and Omega- The Beginning and the End. The Lamb of God. The Lilly of the Valley. The Bread of Life. Emmanuel. The Good Shepherd. These are just a few of the names He is known by.
The Holy Spirit. The Helper. Spirit of Truth. Spirit of God. Spirit of Life. Spirit of lory. Spirit of Promise. Spirit of Adoption. These are a few of the names He is known by.
These names gives us insight the into Holy Trinity. The Holy Spirit is the Helper. The Spirit of Adoption. He brings us in and builds us up. He point us to Jesus and sustains us.
We cannot accomplish anything without the Holy Spirit. He helps us to become what Jesus and God the Father wants us to be. It is impossible without Him. Being holy in the flesh isn’t possible.
Why would we even consider going back to the flesh? Because the pull of the flesh, of sin, is that strong. This is the reason Jesus sacrificed Himself for us. Living in the flesh is death to the spiritual blessings of God.
There is only one way to joy. Accepting Jesus, then being filled with the Holy Spirit and enjoying the goodness of God the Father. All this wrapped in one. The Trinity.
