Titus 3:9 But avoid foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions, and stiving about the law; for they are unprofitable and useless.

Pride comes before a fall. If you want to see how prideful you can be, do what this verse tells you not to. People want to be seen as more. This doesn’t have anything to do with money. This is purely pride.

Foolish arguments, who our parents are, opinions on the law are positions we take because we feel it will make us better than the next man or woman. Our thought is better than the next persons. The stumbling stone is set.

If you want to avoid the fall simply leave your opinions and thoughts out of the equation. Take Jesus and His word to the people. It doesn’t matter what you think you know, who you think you are or what you have earned a degree in.

The simple plain gospel is all you need. Jesus came to save the world through His sacrifice. He died, was buried, then resurrected. He conquered all for you. Start the New Year off right, give it all to Him!
