Ezekiel 37:7 So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone.
The valley Ezekiel was looking at was a valley of dry bones. Death reigned and hope was lost. Everything seemed hopeless. A nation was destroyed. People were ruined. Dreams were gone. The situation was dire.
God told him to prophesy. What is prophesy? Prophesy is simply the promise of God. Ezekiel was speaking the Word. When things get to a point were it seems there is no hope, look up. God is there. He has always been there.
The majority of the problems we face is directly related to the amount of time we spend in Gods word. Simply put, we are our on worst enemy. We want things our way and we want to reign. We have to remember that God will not share the glory He deserves.
We were created with a God sized hole in our hearts. Nothing can fill it but Him. He desires and pursues us with a love we can’t even conceive. Stop. read His word. Pray. Ask. See. Knock. When He answers you will have more joy than you could ever dream of.
