Psalm 139:23-24 NKJV — Search me, O God, and know my heart;
Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me,
And lead me in the way everlasting.

Have you ever prayed these verses? Does it ever scare you, when you see what is truly in your mind and heart? This act isn’t always cheerful.

God knows. He sees it all. Yet He chose to love us and come to earth to sacrifice Himself for us!

This is an amazing event that I find I can’t get over. I know the evil that creeps inside me. I need these moments of reflection. I need them because then God starts working on me to make me more like He wants me to be.
