John 16:1 NKJV — “These things I have spoken to you, that you should not be made to stumble.

Listening and hearing are two entirely different acts. We hear  music, talk shows and other things that are background noise. They are passive.

Listening is an active event. Our eyes look at body language. The tone in which something is spoken is noticed. Our brain is engaged.

Jesus spoke and still speaks to us today with His Word. He wants to help us through everyday life so we can live better. He is a caring friend that is closer than any family or person.

The question is are we hearing Him or listening to Him? Determine which you are doing. If it is listening, the course of your life will change for the better.
