Romans 3:20 NKJV — Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

The ten commandments were given to Moses for the people to live by. Four towards God and six towards men dealing with men. We have to know how to approach and reverence God. We also have to be told how to deal with each other.

The law was taken and given the wrong heading. Jews believe it is a way of salvation. That is wrong. The law leads you to understand you need a way of salvation. In doing that, the law is good.

The true Way of Salvation is Jesus. He is the fulfillment of the law. The law guides you to realize Jesus is our need. The law helps us realize our sin. Jesus died to save us from our sin.
