Do you ever feel like life has left you behind? I talked with a ninety-nine year old woman one time. She was in good health and had no major health conditions. Her one problem was that she was lonely. Her statement to me, “All my friends and family have left me behind.

We often feel like we have problems in life. We get sad, lonely and maybe depressed. What is one thing we do in those times? Yes, we go find a friend to talk to. What happens though when we have nobody to truly talk with? Sadly, we withdraw and lose hope.

When and if you take an honest look at life as a whole, you eventually come to the conclusion we need an anchor point. Sadly, most make that anchor point a person. It may be a possession or earthly location for others but that is just as empty.

The only thing we truly have in this life that counts is a relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. That being said millions of souls are walking around today who don’t have that. You have a chance today if you are Christian to tell somebody else about Him. Please don’t wait. Tomorrow is promised to no one.
