Hebrews 12:4 NKJV — You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin.

Today some christians will head to church. Some will look at the clock and go back to sleep. Of those that head to church many will complain. Most will not remember the message the pastor has spent hours working and praying over. Why?

When life is easy people tend to forget about God. Easy living makes lazy believers. I know this is not politically correct, but it is truth.

The writers of the gospel we read about suffered. They were beaten, ostracized and eventually martyred.  Did the gospel stop spreading? No, it spread like wildfire!

This is not written to make people feel guilty. This is written to make people appreciate what they have. The church in America does great work for God’s kingdom but it is a small percentage of the people who does that work.

How different would it look in church today if the world suddenly changed for the worse? Don’t wait. Go. Worship. Pray. Give. Share. Praise. Be thankful. God is good but tomorrow isn’t promised to us.
