Matthew 8:20 NKJV — And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”

Becoming a Christian means life gets easier. Bills will be paid from unknown sources. No more pain. Everything will work in my favor.

Have you ever heard anyone say this? When you heard them make this statement, did you ask them if they have ever read about Jesus? When they do they will find  a Jesus unlike what they think. He was poor, worked, suffered and like the above scripture had no home.

Being a follower of Christ doesn’t mean life is easy. In fact, life becomes harder in many ways. We have to realize this world is not our home. No matter the price, following Christ is worth every bit of effort and suffering.
