James 3:2 NKJV — For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.

Being righteous doesn’t mean being perfect. James lets us know we all stumble. There is something in my life and something in your life that causes us to struggle.

Our mouths and the words we use are big ones. The tongue is like a match that will set the world on fire. We often, like a horse, need a bridle to control it. What is the bridle? Well, it is the Holy Spirit.

If you have a problem with a specific area, then give it to Him. It may not be easy for us, but He will help you and me. Remember, we are not perfect. He created us to need Him to overcome.
