Job 14:7 NKJV — “For there is hope for a tree, If it is cut down, that it will sprout again, And that its tender shoots will not cease.

We have heard so much about which Presidential candidate will save our country if elected. We all have our opinions which one will be better. The problem is neither person is our Savior.

Job was a thinker. He observed nature and witnessed a sprout springing from the stump of a dead tree. From this he surmised there was life after death.

He was a righteous and faithful man and knew God was faithful. He also became hopeful. If there was life after death then God would provide a way to spend eternity with Him in Heaven.

Friends, that hope came to fruition when Jesus was born. He is the true Hope. He is our Savior, not a person. Never lose sight of that fact.
